About Emma 

Emma first discovered her love for dance at the age of 11 and hasn’t looked back since. After dancing all through her school years, her passion grew into a lifelong career. Upon leaving school, she trained at KS Dance LTD in Warrington, where she gained her FDI and CDE professional teaching qualifications in Imperial Society of Teacher of Dance (ISTD) in Modern, Tap, and Cecchetti Classical Ballet.

Her teaching journey began in 2009 at a small local school in Warrington, before an exciting opportunity took her to Devon. Over the next nine years, she loved inspiring young dancers in the area and, in 2012, decided to expand her skills by completing her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS).

In 2018, Emma took the leap to run her own school in Moretonhampstead. Since then, the school has grown into a much-loved part of the community, which has since expanded into North Tawton.

Emma is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to shine—whether they dream of a career in dance or simply enjoy moving to music.

Alongside teaching, Emma also completed a Foundation Degree in Sports Physiotherapy, which allows her to bring a thoughtful and caring approach to her classes. She’s known for her warm, friendly teaching style, her eye for detail, and her ability to make every student feel valued. Above all, she loves seeing her dancers grow in confidence, make new friends, and discover the joy that dance can bring.
